Sales Director

Job description

Kisi is looking for a Sales Director to lead and develop our team of Account Executives and Sales Development Representatives to the next level. You’ll lead a highly functioning team with attainable quota and established sales operations function. Our ideal leader has a strong entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to turn data into actionable sales strategy, while being hands-on in assisting closing deals and creating enablement materials.

We are looking for a sales coach who is ready to jump in and help us define what sales looks like here at Kisi. This role reports to the Co-Founder and is remote flexible in the US (EST working hours).

Responsibilities:

  • Mentor your team everyday; Coach your team to achieve top performance and identify opportunities for growth for every individual

  • Culture of learning; Implement training and enablement for reps at all levels- from onboarding to ramp-up to closing enterprise, and everything in between

  • Own team quota; Forecast, set targets, coach and hold your team accountable

  • Data driven; Utilize and manage data with operational excellence to forecast and manage pipeline, build reports for leadership and develop data-backed sales strategies that can be out of the box

  • Roll up your sleeves; Identify when to step in to help reps close strategic deals and monitor progress on those to develop and improve the playbook

  • Culture driver; You support and nurture your team while fostering a collaborative team environment. Motivating reps comes easily to you

  • Hiring partner; Attract and retain sales talent in partnership with our People Operations team

Requirements

Qualifications:

  • An ideal candidate is a previous quota carrier turned manager, with ideally 3-5 years of coaching and enablement or management experience.

  • Track record of consistently hitting sales goals and quotas on an individual and team level

  • Analytical and technical thinker with a partnership focused sales philosophy

  • Creator of enablement content- onboarding, 1:1 materials, ongoing training materials, and new feature focused content

  • Strong experience selling in SaaS environments and understanding of SaaS metrics

  • Collaborative with a solid track record of building trust-based coworker relationships horizontally across functions (especially Sales Operations) and vertically along reporting lines

  • Hiring experience - partnered effectively with hiring teams to build a top performing sales team and constantly on the lookout for top sales talent

  • Managing a distributed team is a plus!
