How and why we do it

At Kisi, you will have the freedom to do your work in the way you work best. There’s a flat hierarchy (work alongside our co-founders Carl, Max, and Bernie!), a strong sense of ownership, and the freedom to get creative. We also try to limit meetings as much as possible so that you can have dedicated focus time. Our mission is clear: ensure ease of facility access and remote space management, providing access systems to create a secure future where spaces are connected and accessible without boundaries.

Your role

You are an excited electronics “tinkerer” and love to tell other people about your projects. You will work on Kisi’s new access control IoT lab including planning building solutions with Kisi’s access control, documenting them to publish on our website and to visit by prospective customers and partners. This can be a part or full time internship with the opportunity to extend to a full time, permanent position.

Your responsibilities

• New solutions: Plan solutions, pilot and deploy them in our lab

• Evangelize solutions: Document and demo the solutions internally and externally via content, video and live demos to showcase what is possible with modern security systems

• Specify solutions: Work with custom requirements from customers and leads to create specifications for our marketplace teams and recommend existing partner solutions, building of new features or custom solutions.

• Evolve demo kit offering including branded options and demonstrators for resellers

Your qualifications

• Electronics engineering (or equivalent) background, or strong interest in electronics

• Experience with IoT platforms like Arduino

• Ability to explain complex concepts in a user friendly way

• Interest in startups
